Imperialism in Southeast Asia

Some results of imperialism in Southeast Asia was that their colonization brought mixed results: economies grew, road, harbors, and railroads improved transportation.
The Pacific Rim is on the Asian countries that border the Pacific Ocean. Europe desired the Pacific Ocean land for their strategic location along the sea route to china. Also the Pacific Rim was helpful to grow crops and business.
The Dutch, British, and French went to Southeast Asia to make money by growing coconut, sugar cane, pineapple, coffee, bananas, and rubber. The French, Emperor Napoleon III order the French army to invade southern Vietnam. What the British did was encourage the Chinese to migrate to Malaysia so they can tap the rubber trees. Since the British needed workers to mine for them.
The Dutch discover oil and tin on the islands and desire for more rubber.
Social Darwinism is what imperialist  countries believe in Social Darwinism, that god chose them to be people to take over others people and use their resources.
